Life so full of beauty We often miss it's simplicity Becoming complacent after a time Having lost our childish wonder No longer is it discovery anew But simply something always existing
I often wonder and ponder What if we all never grew up What if our desire to explore never left What if we never lost our childish eyes And what if, asking what if wasn't bad at all
Where has the beauty gone for us This life of adults so complex That we lose touch with our inner child Is it so much to ask To be both, child and simple, as well as, adult and complex How much truer would the beauty be then

The Tree
its roots firmly bound beneath the ground
its limbs hard and strong burst to the sky to thirst
but I with one foot in the sand do vainly demand to fly

He's The Rock Upon which I stand He's The Rock Upon which I stand He created everything with His Mighty Hand He's The Rock Upon which I stand
He's The Rock Upon which I kneel He's The Rock Upon which I kneel I can't contain my Joy in Him How Wonderful it feels He's The Rock Upon which I kneel
And He's The Rock Upon which I pray I thank you Lord More than I can say He created everything His Mighty Power He's The Rock Upon which I stand
He's The Rock Upon which I stand
Blessings, Joe
