What have we as the Faithful and Righteous learned from a man that walks and can most certinaly as we all know err, and is not Divine as some say we think he is, but is purely human? What has this man's example even in his final hours taught us? What joys has he brought us?
Most certainly as we sit here today and we weep in sorrowful pain at what might be, we must also think about what is left behind that we have to share in him and his example. We should also rejoice that in the end we know that we will mourn the loss of someone that deeply enriched us, but that he is being taken unto the Lord himself to experience the beauty he so endured for to begin with... Thus is the true and glorious Grace and Mercy of God....
Use this thread to share what we have learned thought and seen of him.....
Lovingly to all Mystic Rose

Are you referring to Pope John Paul II? I have some very respectful remarks to make concerning [the deceased] Pope John Paul II -- if this thread starters refers to him. Roland

Hi Everyone! As a Sabbatarian (of an entity outside of the BigThree), back then I did not hold a view of Pope John Paul II - not positive, not negative, didn't give it much thought. However, since 1995, I have made some progress in "getting onboard with real life." I have come to realize that to Catholic and non-Catholic alike, Pope John Paul II was a man, who, in my words, rather than drawing a circle to keep others out, drew a circle large enough to invite any and all to come in, come home and so on. While not one inch departing from what he considered to The Faith/The Truth; Depost of Faith, he, again, in my words, was an inclusivist. One of his legacies was not to hold others [non-Catholic Christians] at arm's length, he dared and cared to invite them again, to come in, come home, and stay. For those of us non-Catholics who believe we are correctly where we are, and I do, I realize that if ever found out we were wrong/we are wrong - we know where home is Roland Sabbath & Holy Festivals keeper; and, not anti-BigThree
